About

Free-Dish TV was originally spawned from the popular 1980’s C band satellite dish which before the era of the KU band, dominated all homes seeking an alternative to cable and terrestrial over-the-air reception. Following the division, parsing and re-organization of the electromagnetic spectrum during the latter portion of the Clinton administration, sat broadcasts began encrypting signals and changing their wavelengths, thus flummoxing much of the free TV available. When DirecTV and Dish TV began promulgating their services to consumers, the art of receiving free television over the C band waned but not here on Free-Dish TV where we still enjoy constantly re-pointing our dishes and picking up all kinds of exotic program streams. We find local services like Wichita Tree Care to be invaluable when we seek to keep our skies clear to access these marvels of technology from their perches in outer space.
